About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Midwifery Student. As a Midwifery Student, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and friendly environment, delivering high-quality care to our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Work in a multicultural environment, providing care to women and their families.
- Develop and maintain effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Apply theoretical knowledge to practice, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based care.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest Government initiatives and best practices in Midwifery.
- Current registration with the NMC as an Adult Nurse.
- A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2:2, with a minimum qualification of Diploma in Higher Education with evidence of study at Level 6.
- At least 6 months post-qualification clinical working experience as an Adult Nurse in the UK.
- Good standard of written and verbal communication at all times.
- Ability to work rotational shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Willingness to work in and travel to all places of work.
We offer a comprehensive training program, including academic enrollment at LSBU and the Trust recruitment application process. Successful applicants will also receive a mid-point Band 5 salary and have their University fees paid.
