Role Overview

The Senior Engineer will be responsible for leading our infrastructure projects in the Kent area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to develop their career and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake day-to-day setting out duties with minimal supervision.
  • Train, manage, and mentor Junior Engineers.
  • Manage and monitor site sample/performance testing requirements and maintain records in line with contract specifications.
  • Complete hazard/risk assessments and method statements.
  • Manage site service plans/drawings and issue permits accordingly.
  • Assist the site QS/Project Manager with providing relevant information for records and claims purposes.
  • Monitor and control temporary works.
  • Develop and maintain relations with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
  • Ensure all work complies with quality, safety, and environmental policies and company procedures.

Requirements:

  • A good understanding of ITPs and quality assurance processes.
  • Leadership skills and knowledge of construction practices.
  • Capability to work with Leica/Geomax equipment and transfer information from AutoCAD to surveying equipment.
  • Extensive setting out experience on infrastructure projects.
  • A full UK driving license and willingness to travel throughout the region.
  • A First Aid at Work qualification is desirable.
