Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Analyst with 2+ years of experience in similar roles. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to extend their skills and apply them to a FMCG business, driving operational improvement and enhancing existing and new IT solutions.

The IT Business Analyst will work closely with key stakeholders, including senior business managers, to define and enhance existing and new IT solutions. This will involve:

  • Undertaking analysis and systems development work related to existing and new systems, processes, and procedures;
  • Interviewing key stakeholders to establish the basis for business analysis work;
  • Engaging with business users through appropriate forms to support and identify business requirements;
  • Synthesizing stakeholder needs into actionable insights;
  • Developing Requirement Specifications, Functional Specifications, and Implementation Plans;
  • Carrying out investigation and analysis of Incident tickets raised through Service Desk and utilizing BA techniques to provide suitable solutions to resolve;
  • Driving operational improvement in core business processes, leading to higher business productivity;
  • Documenting how data items relate to one another within an application;

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Project managing the analysis, design, development, configuration, and deployment of assigned IT projects;
  • Managing and developing Project plans within the framework of our Project Delivery methodology;
  • Agreeing project costs and benefits, managing assigned project budgets, and progressing against plan;
  • Taking the lead role in coordinating IT project activity to prioritize and optimize delivery of projects;
  • Ensuring delivery of projects is aligned to business strategy and requirements.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst or similar role(s);
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key business stakeholders;
  • Stakeholder Analysis & Management;
  • Business Systems & Process Modelling;
  • Data Modelling;
