About the Role

FINE+RARE is a leading marketplace for wines, spirits, and collectible experiences. Our global presence spans Asia, Continental Europe, the UK, and the US.

We offer our customers a wide range of services, including global delivery, storage solutions, and a single marketplace platform to sell wines.

Responsibilities
  • Business partnering with key internal stakeholders, providing commercial insight to support decision-making and P&L management.
  • Supporting the UK finance team in preparing monthly management accounts.
  • Overseeing the UK accruals and prepayment schedules.
  • Collaborating with the UK finance team on annual audit enquiries.
  • Reviewing UK financials to ensure accuracy, providing commentary on key variances to forecast/budget.
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly board packs through commentary and financial analysis.
  • Managing the UK fixed asset register.
  • Developing and maintaining the UK and consolidated financial forecasts, reviewed and updated regularly for the board pack.
  • Supporting financial scenario planning.
  • Generating ad hoc reports for analysis as required.

Key Requirements

  • Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant or studying towards CIMA or ACCA.
  • Proven track record of success in previous finance roles.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to reporting accuracy.
  • Previous experience using reporting suites is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple activities in a rapidly changing environment and deliver quality service.
  • A team player, happy to roll sleeves up to support.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge.
  • ERP experience, preferably with SAP B1.
