About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring that all residents receive the highest level of care and support. This includes managing a team of staff, developing and implementing care plans, and maintaining effective relationships with families and external stakeholders.
As a Registered Manager, you will be expected to have prior experience working in a similar role or as a Deputy Manager in older people's or dementia care homes. You will also need to possess strong leadership and management skills, as well as excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and health and social care legislation.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, passionate, and determined to deliver outstanding care and achieve the best possible outcomes for our residents. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £42,500 per annum, reflecting the home's location in the Bournemouth area.
Key Responsibilities- To manage and develop a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to residents
- To oversee the development and implementation of care plans that meet the individual needs of each resident
- To maintain effective relationships with families and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and local authorities
- To ensure that the home complies with CQC regulations and health and social care legislation
The successful candidate will require:
- Prior experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in older people's or dementia care homes
- QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management or equivalent qualification
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and health and social care legislation
- Enthusiasm, passion, and determination to deliver outstanding care and achieve the best possible outcomes for residents
