Job Title: Civil Manager Role
Salary: Up to £65,000 per year
About the Company: ScottishPower is part of the Iberdrola Group, a world leader in wind energy and integrated utility companies. We operate over 4000km of cables and lines that make-up the transmission network connecting infrastructure like wind farms into the electricity system.
About the Job: The Civil Construction Manager has a key role in managing CMT resource and outputs during Development, Procurement, Delivery, and Closure for all major projects. Directing management and delivery as the assigned Principal Contractor, ensuring regulatory compliance with Health and Safety Law, CDM regulations 2015, and Environmental Legislation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Development, Procurement, and Construction: Manage project scopes from concept to closure within disaggregated models in line with CAPEX.
- Direct Management and Delivery: Ensure regulatory compliance with Health and Safety Law, CDM regulations 2015, and Environmental Legislation.
- Commercial Management: Control CAPEX risk in line with Contractual Terms and Conditions with external stakeholders.
- Project Outputs: Direct, deliver, manage, and monitor regulatory outputs in line with programmed milestones.
- Stakeholder Management: Lead, manage, coordinate, and monitor all external stakeholders in line with National Standards and Specifications during delivery outputs of approved designs.
Required Skills:
- Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Current five-day SMSTS qualification.
