Job Description:

We are seeking a Hospital Cleaning and Infection Control Expert to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Hospital Cleaning and Infection Control Expert, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with infection control policies
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to identify and address areas for improvement
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on cleaning and infection control best practices

Requirements:

  • Level 2/3 Diploma in Infection Prevention and Control or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a cleaning or infection control role
  • Excellent knowledge of infection control policies and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
