Job Title: Registered General Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered General Nurse to join our Breast Team at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in overseeing the running of the department and participate in Nurse Led clinics, including wound clinics, drainage of seromas, and accessing chemo care.
  • Support patients throughout their pathway, providing appropriate information and ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure clinic rooms are stocked and cleaned, and safety checks are completed and documented.
Person Specification:
  • Mentorship training or equivalent.
  • Quality, audit, and its application.
  • Current healthcare issues.
  • Health and Safety.
  • Ability to describe what Equality & Diversity means to you and why they are important.
