SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Ofsted-rated 'Good' school in Walsall. This is a highly rewarding role that requires a patient, non-judgmental, and adaptable individual who can establish trusted relationships with students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with special educational needs in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Follow EHCPs and other educational plans to cater to individual learning needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive impact on students' lives
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to students, enabling them to reach their full potential

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with additional needs or a strong desire to work with such children
  • Ability to follow EHCPs and other educational plans
  • Genuine passion for making a positive impact on students' lives
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding to support students' diverse learning requirements
  • Proactive and flexible approach to adapt to various situations and challenges
