Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and assistance to students with SEN, as directed by the class teacher.
  • Implement individualized learning plans and strategies to support students with SEN.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support for students with SEN.
  • Support students with personal care needs, as required.
Requirements
  • Experience working with students with SEN in an educational setting.
  • Good understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional training or qualifications in specific areas of SEN support.
  • Experience working with a range of SEN conditions.
Working Conditions
  • Temporary position with full-time hours.
  • Work within a school environment.
  • May involve assisting with personal care needs of students.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please note that all pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, and in some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
