Chemotherapy Delivery Professional

We're seeking a Homecare Oncology Practitioner to join our team in Edinburgh, Scotland. As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you'll play a vital role in delivering oncology treatments to patients in the comfort of their own homes.
The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including flexible working hours, professional development opportunities, and support for further education.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse to take on a new challenge and develop their skills in oncology care. As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you'll be responsible for:
- Administering chemotherapy medication to patients in their homes
- Developing strong relationships with patients and their families to ensure holistic care
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting to management as required
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Current registration with the NMC
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in oncology nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
