About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Service Lead to join our team at Morven House in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.

As a Deputy Service Lead, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young adults with complex needs and autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and well-being
  • Provide emotional and practical support to clients, enabling them to achieve their goals and outcomes
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure client safety
  • Participate in client reviews, team meetings, and training to maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills
Requirements
  • Previous experience of supporting young adults with complex needs and autism in a supported living setting
  • Knowledge of welfare benefits, health and safety issues, and safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Understanding of housing support needs, self-advocacy, and data protection
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £13.94
  • 37.5 hours per week, with 2-3 days off rota and weekend work required at times
