About the Role

Denholm Associates is seeking a highly experienced Senior Public Relations Manager to lead our dynamic Edinburgh office and manage a portfolio of clients in the property and construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the needs of a portfolio of clients' PR accounts, providing strategic advice and counsel to aid their PR and wider marketing campaigns.
  • Develop industry, sector, and product-focused PR campaigns, providing product or company information to the media and building relationships with key media contacts.
  • Liaise with clients regarding press campaigns, creative projects, and PR solutions, dealing with the media and speaking to journalists and other members of the press.
  • Analyse PR coverage, key performance indicators, and provide written reports, communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Manage/mentor junior team members, including leading in-house training sessions.

Requirements

  • Strong networking and business development credentials, with agency experience and extensive knowledge of the property/construction sector.
  • High levels of communication, including presentation, verbal, and written skills, as well as impressive emotional intelligence and interpersonal expertise.
  • A passion for the media, including social media and key press contacts, with flair for creativity, strategic thinking, and innovation.
  • Strong copywriting skills, outstanding organisation, and ability to manage multiple projects, portfolios, and people at any one time.
  • Client-focused and sensitive to confidential information, with experience of working with business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-consumer (B2C) PR accounts.
