Senior HR Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our fast-paced Oxford-based client. As a Senior HR Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering proactive HR services, driving best practice, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic HR projects to enhance organisational effectiveness and drive business growth.
  • Provide first-line generalist HR advisory services, offering guidance on HR policies, processes, and systems to ensure seamless employee experience.
  • Advise on employee relations issues, escalating complex cases as needed, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to resolve conflicts.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of local HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with UK/EMEA regulations.
  • Conduct exit interviews and identify patterns or issues for action or escalation, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee the company's Performance & Development Review cycles, including planning and delivering training to enhance employee skills and development.
  • Collaborate on internal mobility transfers and relocations, ensuring a smooth transition for employees and the business.
  • Utilise data analytics to assess HR metrics, provide insights, and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives, driving business outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience within a generalist HR function in the UK/EMEA, with a strong understanding of employment law and worker-related regulations.
  • Demonstrable experience from the Professional Services, Fintech, Tech, and Pharmaceutical industries, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels, with a strong focus on communication and stakeholder management.
  • Self-starter, team player, and able to work under pressure, with a strong ability to manage deadlines and conflicting priorities.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel & Word, with a strong ability to utilise data analytics tools to drive business outcomes.
