We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Paediatric department. Main Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision to the team, ensuring high-quality patient care and a positive working environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and team performance.
  • Collaborate with the Ward Sister to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team, providing acute care to paediatric surgical patients. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in paediatric medical care, working alongside a team of experienced nurses and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a Paediatric department, with a strong understanding of paediatric medical care.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and teams to achieve departmental goals.
