Job Overview:



KM Recruitment is seeking a motivated and experienced childcare professional to join our team as a Trainee Residential Childcare Assessor. This is an exciting opportunity to work with learners and help them develop their skills and knowledge in residential childcare.



Key Responsibilities:



• Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5



• Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2



• Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted



• Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners



• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress



• Support, advise and motivate learners



• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs



Requirements:



• Hold or be willing to work towards an Assessor qualification



• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Team Leader, Deputy or Home Manager within a Residential Children's Home setting



• Hold a level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare, or Early Years Childcare (or equiv/higher)



• Confident with Maths and English and ideally have own GCSE's or equivalent in Maths and English



• Driver with own vehicle
