We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking various tasks related to grounds maintenance in residential areas, parks, highway verges, and council-owned flat blocks.

The ideal candidate will have experience in grass cutting, shrub and hedge maintenance, sports pitch management, landscaping, tractor operation, mechanical sweeping, and tree works. A strong understanding of health and safety procedures is essential.

In addition to the technical skills required, the candidate should possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Undertake grounds maintenance tasks including grass cutting, shrub and hedge maintenance, sports pitch management, landscaping, and tree works
  • Operate tractors and other machinery safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
