About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Researcher to join our Public Policy and Global team at the National Centre for Social Research. As a Senior Researcher, you will play a key role in designing and delivering high-quality social surveys that provide critical insights into societal trends, behaviors, and attitudes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver high-quality research projects for our clients, working closely with Research Directors and other team members.
  • Design and lead social research projects, including surveys, quantitative analysis, qualitative approaches, and evaluation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Collaborate with junior researchers to ensure their work is of high quality and meets the needs of the project.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research methodologies and practices, applying this knowledge to improve the quality and impact of our research.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality social research projects, with experience in managing and leading multiple projects at any given time.
  • Strong understanding of research methods, including surveys, quantitative analysis, qualitative approaches, and evaluation.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with experience in supporting senior colleagues to write compelling proposals.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, managing deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in managing budgets and resources.
  • Commitment to building and maintaining good relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and staying up-to-date with the latest research methodologies and practices.
