The Editorial department is a vibrant and dynamic team of highly motivated individuals who are passionate about research and publishing. We are responsible for developing and growing a diverse portfolio of high-quality, valuable journals across various fields. Our collaborative efforts with external partners, society organizations, and internal colleagues in editorial, marketing, and product innovation roles ensure the growth, success, and long-term sustainability of our program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and embed policies, processes, and resources around research, pre-publication, and post-publication ethics.
- Play a leading role in achieving our goal to maintain our reputation as a high-quality, ethical publisher.
- Translate strategic objectives concerning publication ethics into practical plans to improve our ethical policies in line with industry best practices.
- Identify ways to reduce the risk of ethical problems arising in the first place or enable more efficient resolution of problems.
- Develop and maintain resources around research integrity matters to support the Research Integrity Team and Editorial colleagues.
- Ensure the Research Integrity team is delivering a high level of support and expertise to staff and journal editors. Act as the point of escalation for complex and sensitive cases.
- Provide regular reporting on case work to senior leads, creating visibility of trends and emerging issues.
- Participate in industry projects and working groups; be an ambassador for our research integrity work externally.

Requirements:
- Excellent understanding of research, publication ethics, and industry best practices
- Experience in managing a team of specialists and overseeing a global, diverse portfolio of journals
- Ability to manage multiple expectations from diverse stakeholders
- Strong and collaborative communicator, with strong problem-solving skills
