About the Role

Our Care Leavers Service is seeking a skilled Personal Advisor to join our team. In this critical role, you will provide support and guidance to young people aged 17-24, helping them transition successfully to adulthood.

You will work closely with young people, placing them at the heart of decision-making, and help them achieve independence and a bright future. This involves developing and maintaining respectful, supportive relationships, creating and implementing individualized Pathway Plans, and ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support young people in achieving their goals and aspirations
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people and their families
  3. Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure optimal outcomes
  4. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on young people's progress
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a compassionate and empathetic individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly care leavers, is highly desirable. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £32,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including a specialist recruitment consultant and payroll service, as well as ongoing training and development opportunities.
