We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Minor Works Scheduler to join our team at Marlowe Fire and Security. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for efficiently scheduling and dispatching Minor Works Engineers to complete tasks and maintenance visits in line with customer requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with our National Account Managers to meet customer expectations and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Attend regular meetings with key clients to enhance internal and external working relationships and ensure a clear understanding of our processes.
- Monitor engineer activity to ensure early dispatch and attendance of first jobs, and monitor throughout the day to ensure job completion.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with engineers, stores, and RSM to ensure all FA calls are actioned accordingly.
- Update client portals and helpdesks in line with specific account instructions.
- Answer all customer calls within 3 rings and retrieve all phone and email messages and process accordingly within SLA.
- Have a strong understanding of geographical regions and engineer coverage.
- Schedule all work within designated areas in line with SLA using our Scheduler+ software.
- Booking of works with sites in accordance with customer and site requirements.
- Processing of orders to ensure all work is carried out in time to allow invoice to be created.
- Proactive approach to management of workload.
- Ensure Area is clear of jobs at end of shift by contacting each engineer by telephone, passing any high priority jobs for same day attendance to the Lead engineer. Allocating remaining jobs for future attendance. No jobs to remain outstanding on engineers at the end of each day.
- At least 2 years' experience in a Scheduling/Planning/Coordinating role.
- Experience of Scheduling Field-based colleagues, such as Engineers, would be an ideal background, however, other similar industry experience would definitely be considered and welcomed.
- Familiarity of using in-house and external systems and databases – Cash4Windows (C4W) would be a significant advantage, but not mandatory.
- Proactive approach to management of workload.
- Clear communicator with good telephone manner with colleagues and customers.
- Basic Salary – up to £28,000 per annum depending on experience.
