Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Enable Leisure & Culture. This exciting opportunity involves developing and implementing business development strategies through various local authorities, identifying new opportunities, and expanding our reach within the community.

You will work closely with our Research & Development team to analyze trends and opportunities, collaborate with Heads of Service managers to identify current scope, reach, and room for growth, and network with local businesses and stakeholders to build relationships and identify new opportunities.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and oversee business development strategies through various local authorities.
  • Identify gaps and trends in the market, leading to new markets, growth areas, customers, partnerships, and innovative ways to reach existing markets.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure initiatives align with strategic aims.
  • Represent Enable at networking opportunities such as events, market engagement sessions, and conferences.
Skills and Experience

We require a highly motivated individual with:

  • Proven experience in business development and implementing successful growth strategies.
  • Varied experience working with Local Authorities.
  • A keen eye for identifying new opportunities and tenacity to see them through to conversion.
  • Strong project management skills and autonomy to self-motivate, drive change, and work collaboratively.
  • Ability to engage and liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders, internal and external.
