The Role

As a Support Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team that makes a world of difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities. You will work collaboratively to provide support that enhances their quality of life, enabling them to experience independent living and decision-making.

Requirements
  • A genuine passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities and a commitment to enhancing their quality of life.
  • Empathy, patience, and understanding to cater to the unique needs and preferences of the people we support.
  • Effective communication skills, as clear and compassionate communication is essential to build positive relationships.
  • Flexibility in adapting to different routines and providing support tailored to each person's unique requirements.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with other staff members and professionals.
Benefits
  • A competitive salary of approximately £28,529 per annum (£30,129 including sleep-in shifts), depending on the number of hours worked.
  • Overtime opportunities available, with the potential to earn an additional £6,000 per year.
  • Annual leave starting at 26 days, plus Bank Holidays (increasing to 30 days).
  • Occupational Sick Pay: Up to 6 months full pay and 6 months half pay.
