About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Trade Operative to join our team at Mears. As a key member of our property maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance work on our housing properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and maintenance work on our housing properties, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
- Work from job to job, following a planned route to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay up-to-date with company policies and procedures.
- Use a hand-held device to record and manage tasks, including worksheets, timesheets, and photographic evidence.
- Ensure all company assets are maintained in good condition and report any damages to your supervisor.
- Collect materials and stock as required to meet works order requirements.
- Participate in call-out cover to ensure contract compliance and service user satisfaction.
Requirements
- Hold a certified core trade qualification.
- Have experience in window and door fitting, carpentry, and basic plumbing.
- Be IT literate and have good customer service skills.
- Hold a UK full driving license.
