Main Duties and Responsibilities- Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in the outpatient setting, including patient counselling and medication management.
- Act as a Responsible Pharmacist, ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines in the outpatient department.
- Support the development of the business, including policy and service development, and financial and physical resource management.
- Lead and manage the pharmacy team, ensuring high-quality patient care and customer service.
- Develop and maintain information resources, including medicines information and clinical guidelines.
- Contribute to research and development, including audit and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide educational support to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with Trust policies and procedures, including equality and diversity, and confidentiality.

Person Specification- Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values.
- Masters degree or equivalent in pharmacy.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Mandatory CPD to maintain fitness to practice.
- Experience of patient counselling and completed audit to improve practice.
- Desirable: experience of working in a hospital environment, post-registration hospital experience, ward pharmacy experience, and understanding of medicines reconciliation.
