About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Go To Outsourcing. As a Care Home Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals for 30+ people, taking into account special dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Manage the kitchen team, ensuring efficient and safe food preparation and service.
  • Source fresh produce and ingredients, adhering to food safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure that meals are tailored to individual residents' needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenses, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • 12+ months experience as a head chef in a care home or similar setting.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in food safety, nutrition, and kitchen management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Right to work in the UK and a valid DBS check.
