Care Home Chef Job Description

At Go To Outsourcing, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Care Home Chef to join our team. As a Care Home Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and their dietary requirements are catered for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare menus that cater to the diverse needs of our residents
  • Source fresh produce and ingredients to ensure the highest quality of food
  • Lead a small team of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective meal preparation
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with our care team to ensure residents' dietary needs are met

Requirements:

  • 12+ months experience as a head chef in a care home or similar setting
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality meals and excellent customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings
  • Enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK
