Kent County Council is committed to delivering excellent outcomes for children and young people. We are looking for a highly skilled Social Worker to join our Recruitment and Assessment teams within Adoption Partnership South East.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Regional Adoption Agency, providing adoption services on behalf of Kent County Council. As a Social Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adopters and children.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, assess, and support potential adopters and early permanence carers
- Develop and implement plans to support adopters and children
- Collaborate with birth parents and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
- Experience in adoption work and supporting families
- Excellent assessment and report writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure application to the Disclosure and Barring service and registration as a qualified Social Worker with Social Work England.
SalaryThe salary for this role is estimated at £45,000 per annum.
