About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Transport Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our transport team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and respectful transportation of patients to and from healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from healthcare facilities, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during transport, promoting a positive and calming environment.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and transportation.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient transport, including any incidents or issues that may arise.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in patient care and transport.
Requirements
  • Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with minimum 12 months driving experience.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate resilience and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
