Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mental Health Transport Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a professional and caring service for patients while in our care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support and transport vulnerable service users as part of a team.
  • Ensure patient safety remains paramount and safe systems of work are adhered to.
  • Support the care of patients during assessments in line with the Mental Health Act.
  • Maintain Enhanced DBS and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and respectfully.
  • Administer first aid and provide social care in non-emergency situations.
  • Implement and adhere to statutory regulations and organisational policies and procedures.

Person Specification
  • Valid Full UK Manual Driving License.
  • Enhanced Adult and Child DBS Certificate (dated within the last 3 years).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Able to work as part of a team and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to implement electronic systems for capturing required data.
