About the Role

Gap Technical Ltd is seeking an experienced Automation Technician to join their team in Crewe. This exciting opportunity involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial automation systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot automated production systems.
  • Conduct tests to evaluate performance of automated systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on automated systems.
  • Assist with the development of training materials for other technicians.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics. They should be able to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics.
