Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a positive safety culture within our organisation by driving health and safety practices and developing tactical plans to continually improve performance.
  • Lead Safety Committee Meetings and act on feedback to ensure effective implementation.
  • Support the team to maintain compliance with certified ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) for Integrated Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems.
  • Conduct operational site audits and inspections to achieve health and safety compliance at site level, report findings, and ensure corrective actions are in place.
  • Collaborate with clients and sub-contractors to align with our approach to health, safety, and environment.
  • Provide technical health and safety advice in accordance with current legislation and best practices, including CDM.
  • Design and implement risk control techniques, promote suitable resources, and oversee systems to manage risks effectively across the business and at sites.
  • Assist in occupational health matters relating to staff physical and mental health, providing appropriate intervention and direction to ensure a consistent response from supporting professionals.
  • Action relevant legislative changes and organisational requirements, helping to develop and implement solutions to maintain compliance.
