About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Manager to lead our Electrical Function within our Skegness resort. As a key member of our Resorts Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of our Electrical Function, delivering exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

As a leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of electrical professionals, providing coaching and development opportunities, and ensuring that all team members are engaged and motivated to deliver outstanding results. You will also be responsible for managing project works, including routine maintenance, servicing, and repairing of domestic, commercial, and electrical equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the team during a shift to achieve key tasks and objectives
  • Driving add-on sales and promotions, and supporting the team to do the same
  • Ensuring all stock and proposition is available for guests
  • Monitoring consistent delivery of a quality guest experience in line with brand and venue guidelines
  • Ensuring any guest feedback is captured and acted upon
  • Providing accurate rota's 3 weeks in advance through SAM for all team members within the venue
  • Monitoring NPS and taking action where possible on guest feedback
  • Coaching and developing the team to ensure departmental plans are met
  • Being a champion of the Butlin's Values and Leadership Behaviours
  • Ensuring a focus on RPRRT in the way team members are rostered
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships across the resort, other resorts, and Butlins central support teams
  • Responsibility for people support of the department, including all people tasks from onboarding through the employee life cycle

We are looking for an experienced electrical leader who can support the team to deliver fantastic service, putting the guests first in everything they do. You will have experience in training and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment to deliver an excellent experience. You should have previous experience in leading teams, with an ability to prioritise a demanding workload, work on your own initiative, and a sound understanding of how to operate a PC/Microsoft suite.

You should be confident to direct and respond in any situation while delivering consistent brand standards. The ability to lead, motivate, and engage your team, even at periods of high demand, is important, as well as being able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.

We require an 18th Edition electrical qualification, as well as a HVK license. If you are a motivated and experienced electrical leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional service, we would love to hear from you.
