Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible individual to join our team at The Core, a thriving multi-purpose venue in the heart of Solihull. As a casual venue assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a high standard of service to our customers, supporting our existing team, and contributing to the success of our events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Support our events team in preparing for events, including setting up and cleaning the venue.
  • Assist with food preparation and serving, using a till and handling cash transactions.
  • Contribute to general cleaning and housekeeping duties, including lifting, carrying, and standing for long periods.
  • Work effectively within a team environment, demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, working a range of hours including daytimes, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Requirements:

  • Able to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of excellent customer service and be confident in engaging with a range of people.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including daytimes, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
