Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and flexible individual to join our team at The Core, a thriving multi-purpose venue in the heart of Solihull. As a casual venue assistant, you will provide a high standard of service to our customers, supporting our existing team in a range of duties across the venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with event preparation, including setting up and clearing venues
  • Provide excellent customer service, engaging with a range of people and responding to their needs
  • Work effectively within a team environment, supporting colleagues to deliver a high-quality service
  • Contribute to the preparation and serving of food and beverages, using a till and maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Participate in general cleaning and housekeeping duties, including lifting, carrying, and standing for long periods

Requirements:

  • Able to work effectively within a team environment
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage with a range of people
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including daytimes, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Ability to lift, carry, and stand for long periods
