At VWA, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Assistant to join our team in Wimbledon. As an integral part of our accounting function, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of our financial processes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have excellent finance skills, including experience with accounts payable management, cash management, and wider accounts assistant duties such as dealing with expenses and general month-end contributions.

  • Manage accounts payable, including invoicing, updating supplier information, communicating with suppliers on payment queries, and ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Contribute to cash management, monitoring balances and currencies, and participating in bi-weekly bank reconciliations.

You will be working closely with our finance team to ensure that all financial tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

About You

We are looking for someone with a relevant finance qualification, such as AAT or ACCA, and strong proficiency in MS Office. Additional language skills are advantageous, given our international operating environment.

What We Offer

This is a 3-month contract position, based in our office in Wimbledon, with up to 3 days of remote work from home. The ASAP start date means we need someone to begin as soon as possible.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is up to £30k (permanent equivalent), depending on experience. This is a competitive package that reflects the importance of this role in our organization.
