Specialty Doctor in Psychiatry Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Specialty Doctor to join our Home treatment and Rapid Response Team (HTT/RRT) in Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust.

This is a 10 PA post, with the option for flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance. The successful candidate will contribute to providing senior medical input, including initial assessments, follow-up reviews, and CPA Reviews for patients with long-term needs.

Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Approved under S12 OR able to achieve with 6 months of appointment
Clinical Skills and Knowledge
  • At least 4 years postgraduate experience, including at least 2 years in core psychiatry training programme
  • Good knowledge in specialty
  • Good clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge
Academic Skills and Lifelong Learning
  • Participated in continuous professional development
  • Able to use and appraise clinical evidence
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is around £65,000 - £80,000 depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including annual leave, pension scheme, and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
