Health and Safety Advisor

About the Role:
Kenton Black is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Health and Safety Policies: Create and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential hazards and risks in the workplace, including construction sites.
- Provide Training and Support: Deliver training and guidance to employees, contractors, and customers on health and safety best practices, including inductions, toolbox talks, and RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
- Monitor and Review Health and Safety Performance: Regularly monitor and review health and safety performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Senior Management: Work closely with senior management to ensure health and safety is integrated into all aspects of the business, including strategic planning and decision-making.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General and NEBOSH Construction Certifications: Hold a minimum of NEBOSH General certification, with NEBOSH Construction certification being highly desirable.
- UK Driving License and Personal Vehicle: Possess a current UK driving license and have access to a personal vehicle for work-related purposes.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with employees, contractors, customers, and senior management.
