MWH Treatment is seeking a skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our SHEQ team on a project basis for our Severn Trent framework. Based in the Severn Trent region, this role will involve providing day-to-day H&S support and contributing to the development of our regional safety strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the project team in ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and implementing HSE guidance and best practices.
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections to verify compliance with legislative requirements and health and safety management systems.
- Monitor the resolution of health and safety issues and investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and learning points.
- Assist with risk assessments and identification of suitable control measures, as required.
- Develop and maintain safety-related documentation, including manuals, procedures, and guidance notes.
- Liaise with clients, HSE Inspectors, and external assessors to ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Sustain and build strong relationships with the site team and support the development of a positive health and safety culture.
