About the Role

The successful candidate will work for a leading Lloyd's Insurer, known for their innovative approach and commitment to client satisfaction. As a Senior Ceded Reinsurance Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for managing the organization's reinsurance claims recoveries and premium payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of reinsurance purchased by the organization, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with procedures.
  • Assist in the quarterly reinsurance close, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Author claim and premium transactions on relevant systems, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Support the Outwards Reinsurance team in processing and transacting complex RI risks.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Senior Ceded Reinsurance Technician or Reinsurance Technician from a Broker or Insurer.
  • Ability to fully support the reinsurance recoveries manager in all aspects of the organization's reinsurance processes.
  • Ability to teach and instruct junior members of the reinsurance team.
  • Working knowledge of all non-marine and marine classes of business.
  • Working knowledge of all non-proportional, proportional, and facultative reinsurance processing.
