At AtkinsRéalis, we're seeking a talented Coastal Engineering Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our Transformational Programmes. As a key member of our coastal engineering team, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our projects and delivering exceptional results.

As a Principal Coastal Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of coastal engineering projects, from flood defences to sea walls and breakwaters. You'll be responsible for leading a team to undertake technical design work, managing time and budgets, and working closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
  • Design experience of coastal structures such as flood defences, sea walls, breakwaters, revetments and beaches to appropriate codes and standards.
