Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Public Health Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will involve working closely with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to improve public health outcomes in Waltham Forest.

About the Role
This position requires at least 3 years of experience in public health, with a strong understanding of how complex public sector organisations work. You will need to have successfully developed, delivered, and evaluated health-related policies/strategies within a local authority context.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project teams, working closely with consultants and contractors, and ensuring that services are delivered to agreed standards. You will also be required to demonstrate excellent report writing skills, critical appraisal of evidence, and interpretation of health intelligence.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a high standard of education, with relevant qualifications in public health or a related field. You should also have experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
