Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Specialist to join our team. As a Public Health Specialist, you will play a key role in designing and managing the development of public health systems, ensuring they meet business, statutory legal, and contractual requirements.
Responsibilities:
- To oversee the design process for public health engineering projects from concept stage to completion.
- To ensure that all designs meet relevant standards, codes of practice, and client requirements.
- To coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and sustainability consultants, to integrate energy-efficient design solutions.
- To lead the development of technical assurance management plans, ensuring compliance with project deliverables and RIBA stages.
- To collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
- To work closely with construction teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- To participate in client meetings, design workshops, and other relevant forums to communicate project progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., civil engineering, mechanical engineering).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of project deliverables, RIBA stages, health and safety, cost control, value engineering, and site inspections.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Office 365 suite of tools and Revit software.
- CSCS card holder.
Salary: An estimated salary of £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
