About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Holkham House, a specialist residential service for individuals with learning disabilities, including autism, sensory and communication impairments.

As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager to lead the team in providing high-quality care and support to our service users. You will be responsible for empowering individuals to lead a full and valued life, enabling them to live more independently through a programme of active community engagement, developing meaningful social networks and developing robust coping strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager to lead the team in providing high-quality care and support to service users.
  • Empower individuals to lead a full and valued life, enabling them to live more independently.
  • Develop and implement person-centred care plans to meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Support the Home Manager to manage budgets, lead by example and act as a role model to all members of the team.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or willing to work towards.
  • Excellent track record in a senior role within the healthcare sector.
  • Understanding of learning disabilities, epilepsy and sensory processing issues.
  • Passion for improving clinical quality and care.
  • Strong leadership skills.
