About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Holkham House, a specialist residential service for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and sensory and communication impairments.

As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager in leading the nursing team to provide high-quality care and support to our service users. You will be responsible for empowering recovery, delivering supervision to staff, coordinating the on-call service, managing ward budgets, and acting as a role model for the nursing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager in preparing for contract reviews and representing the organisation regarding service delivery.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance productive working relationships within the home.
  • Ensure the appropriate number and skill mix of staff on duty at any given time, subject to company protocol and the needs of the service users.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor the Person Centred Approach to care within the home.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or willing to work towards it.
  • An excellent track record in a senior role within the healthcare sector.
  • An understanding of learning disabilities, epilepsy, and sensory processing issues.
  • A passion for improving clinical quality and care.
  • Strong leadership skills.
