Role Overview
Academics Ltd is seeking highly motivated and ambitious teaching assistants to join their team at a specialist school in Reading. The school provides education and therapeutic support for children between 5 and 16 years old with complex needs, communication difficulties, and challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities
As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers and other professionals to provide individualized support to students. Your primary responsibilities will include creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, and assisting with lessons and activities. You will also have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge through training and professional development programs.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a strong understanding of psychology or a related field, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be able to work effectively in a team and maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information. Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is highly desirable, but not essential.
