Job Title: Principal or Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to join our team at Huphuphup. As a key member of our infrastructure design team, you will be responsible for providing design expertise and support on a variety of schemes, from small highway improvements to large residential and commercial developments.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a strategically important sector of our business. You will work on projects ranging from small-scale developments to larger-scale projects of up to 5000 residential units and supporting infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design of both major and minor commercial and residential developments from appraisal stage through to planning and detailed design of infrastructure, external works, and drainage.
  • Knowledge and experience of highway design standards – Local Highway Authority, Manual for Streets, LTN1/20 and DMRB.
  • Knowledge and experience of drainage design standards – Sewers for Adoption, Sewerage Sector Guidance, Code of Adoption Agreement and The SuDS Manual (CIRIA C753).
  • Good understanding and use of software packages including AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Site3D and Micro Drainage.
  • Good knowledge of standard engineering practices and a demonstrable understanding of Health and Safety including CDM.
