Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Sopra Banking Software SA. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data centre infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Enterprise Networking concepts, including HPE and Cisco network hardware, as well as experience with Virtualization technologies such as VMware. Knowledge of Linux Operating Systems (RedHat) and Microsoft Windows Server is also essential. Experience with Cloud Technologies, specifically AWS, is a plus.

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and improving data centre infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Providing high-quality infrastructure support to our employees and customers, including attending meetings and providing on-call support.
  • Ensuring compliance with information security standards and regulations.
  • Leading technology implementations and guiding colleagues in deploying new and updated solutions.
