About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at The Ashton Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, well-being, and dignity are respected.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care to residents, including personal care, meal support, and mobility assistance.
  • Support daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with medication administration and record-keeping.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive care environment, promoting resident engagement and well-being.
Requirements
  • SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant or in a related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine interest in providing care for the elderly and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.44.
  • A 33-hour contracted week, offering a good work-life balance.
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave per annum.
