Job Title: Planned Programme Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Planned Programme Supervisor to join our team at Bristol City Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple installation contracts, working with a team of surveyors and gas auditing engineers, and ensuring compliance with Bristol City Council Gas Safe Register.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple installation contracts, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of projects
  • Lead a team of surveyors and gas auditing engineers, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals
  • Ensure compliance with Bristol City Council Gas Safe Register, maintaining high standards of health and safety
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver Bristol City Council's Gas Servicing programme of works
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve service delivery and achieve carbon neutral targets

Requirements:

  • Relevant recognised Gas and/or Electrical engineering qualification (Degree or HNC or NVQ Level 3 standard)
  • Extensive practical relevant experience in installation and maintenance, particularly within social housing
  • Strong line management skills and ability to build good work relationships with contractors
  • Ability to adapt to industry changes and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Gas safety and electrical regulations
